AI symphonies: three full works, directed by a person and played by an AI
Three symphonies, 13 movements, almost an hour of music
These are instrumental works in several movements. Each movement is a separate generation made with Suno (model v6); what joins them is the story and a short motif written by the creator, who also chooses the takes and the order. Together they last 59 min 53 s.
Every symphony has its own page, in Spanish, with the full story, the motif, the styles requested in plain language and a measurement of what each movement really sounds like. You can listen in order or one movement at a time, free and without signing up. The music needs no translation, and your browser can translate the text.
Sinfonía de la Cúpula (Symphony of the Dome)
Four movements, 17 min 43 s: Fundamenta, Machina, Silentium and Oculus.
The story: a great dome, fictional and not any particular building, that takes generations to rise. A low note is the first stone. A five-note motif is born fragile and in minor, passes through work, doubt and silence, and ends in major, sung in unison by the whole orchestra. The low note from the beginning returns at the start of the last movement: whoever laid the first stone did not see the finished work, but the work remembers them.
Sinfonía de la Orquesta (Symphony of the Orchestra)
Five movements, 24 min 5 s: Il Primo La, Dialogo, Tavolozza, Prove and La Prima.
The story: how an orchestra is born for a new work, from the moment the idea exists only in the composer’s head to the moment it sounds complete in a great hall. A composer imagines a note, an A played by a distant oboe, and a four-note motif grows from it. They explain it to a conductor, and at first they do not understand each other. They choose the instruments and the tempo that make it sound real, rehearse until the early hours, and finally the premiere arrives.
Sinfonía del Faro (Symphony of the Lighthouse)
Four movements, 18 min 5 s: Costa Ciega, Temporal, El Torrero and Luz Sola.
The story: on the Atlantic coast between Cádiz and Huelva, in front of treacherous shoals where at night the sea is only heard as swell, a lighthouse is built and its first, tiny flame is lit. An Atlantic storm hits the tower and cannot put it out. A lighthouse keeper lives on the spiral staircase, cleans the lens, winds the mechanism and keeps watch, until the night he closes the door for the last time. In the end the light turns by itself.
A note on authorship
These are works generated with AI and directed by their creator. Authorship is always credited to the station. Each page shows stylistic affinities with composers as a reference to orient the listener, but they are not imitations or works by those composers, and no composer’s name is ever used to generate the music.
